THE MARINAS
Grand Bahama Island is a boater’s paradise and only 55 miles off the coast of South Florida. There are numerous marinas on the island. The marina closest to Florida is on the west end of Grand Bahama and it is located at the Old Bahama Bay Resort & Yacht Harbour. There are numerous marinas scattered throughout the island; however, the most popular marina is Port Lucayan Marina located in the center of the island around the more popular resorts. Many boaters like to keep their vessels in the marinas and use other transportation to go back and forth to the island.
